Health Care Assistants

M&C Home Support Ltd is currently looking for Health Care Assistants in the Central Bedfordshire area. The service’s main objectives are: to ensure high standards of individualised care are provided to our clients; to develop clients’ independent living skills; to promote a safe and familiar environment to our clients and to ensure that staff care team feels appreciated and has got equal personal development opportunities within the service.

As the service is expanding, we are looking for more staff to join our team. M&C Home Support Ltd is looking to hire dedicated, compassionate, kind, friendly staff with a professional approach towards the team and clients.

The ideal candidate will:

– Have previous experience in care (preferable).

– Have great communicational skills, both written and verbal (essential).

– Have right to work in the UK (evidence needs to be shown, if successful).

– Be flexible in hours of operation.

Job description

– To demonstrate high standard of care practice to the team and clients.

– To follow weekly rota to ensure continuity of delivery of care.

– To deliver personal care to our clients, ensuring Person-Centred Plan is followed.

– To promote independent living skills of each client, whenever possible.

– To administer medication, if required, as per support plan. Furthermore, records of administration need to be accurate and detailed.

– To attend and book clients’ medical appointments.

– To follow health and safety and infection control policies and procedures at all times.

– To ensure all equipment at client’s home is well maintained and cleaned after each use.

– To support clients with meal preparations and regular fluid intake.

– To update clients’ daily records to keep track of their progress.

– To assist with maintenance of cleanliness, repairs and decor of the home.

– To participate in regular one to one and staff meetings to assess performance and career development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hourly Rate: £12.00 – £13.00 ( Depending on experience & Qualifications)

  • Holidays

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Supplemental pay types:
